Class 5 Drivers - Milk Tankers

Hilton Haulage Limited Partnership is a leading supplier of transport and storage facilities New Zealand wide. We have an extensive fleet of vehicles which enables us to provide a comprehensive range of services to a wide variety of industries.

One of our core services is the collection of raw milk off farm.  Hilton Haulage will be providing transport services to their large client Synlait who are currently building a new milk processing plant based in Pokeno, North Waikato. The new dairy factory is under construction now and the production of infant-grade skim milk, whole milk and infant formulas base powders for the Chinese market will commence in September 2019.

Applications are open for full time permanent Class 5 driving roles based out of Pokeno. Start dates will vary from June 2019 through until October 2019.

What we are looking for?

We are looking for individuals who hold relevant heavy transport licences and who offer the equivalent of at least 6 years of overseas truck & trailer experience at Class 5 level.  Ideally this experience will be gained on truck and trailer combinations and will involve some live load experience (liquids, fuel, logs etc).  Applicants must have great attention to detail, understand the importance of safety at work and can communicate with a range of people including colleagues, customers and farmers.

The position works a rotating roster of 3 days on, 3 nights on, 3 days off. Normal work hours begin at 7am for day shift, and 5pm for night shift.
