What we offer:

  • A great hourly rate
  • Guaranteed daily hours paid regardless of workload requirements
  • Meal and travel allowances
  • Modern and well-maintained fleet and equipment
  • 5+ weeks of annual leave

Why work for us?

Being a Tanker Driver with Hilton Haulage is an exciting position to have. We have some of the best and biggest milk collection trucks on the road – making us a key player in this ever-growing industry.   Our commitment to best practice health and safety measures and compliance is unrelenting.  We are focussed on ensuring every employee returns home to their families each day in the same condition which they arrived at work.

What we are looking for?

The milk collection task is a critical one; it is the first step in the production process of a range of dairy products, therefore ensuring adherence to strict food safety procedures is paramount in this role.

We are looking for individuals who hold their Class 5 drivers’ licence and offer at least 3 years of truck & trailer experience.  Applicants must have great attention to detail, understand the importance of safety at work and can communicate with a range of people including colleagues, customers and farmers.

The position works a rotating roster of 3 days on, 3 nights on, 3 days off. Normal work hours begin at 7am for day shift, and 5pm for night shift.

As the milk collection volumes drop off in February/March each year, there will be opportunities available to move to other divisions within the business to try something different.  This will include operating v-bins from our Washdyke deport, during the harvest season.

If you would like to join an organisation where trucks and transport are at the heart of what we do, please apply now by visiting our website: www.hiltonhaulage.co.nz Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.

Applications close Friday 8th June 2018.
